A brief survey o fractio al differe tiatio a d i tegratio is give , some basic co cepts of the fractio al cal culus a d some typical defi itio s of the fractio al derivative are reviewed. Next the digital impleme tatio approaches of fractio al dif fere tiators are discussed i detail. Some ew problems,which would bee e cou ted i the desig of the fractio al differe tiators, a d some ew co cepts, such as the odd symmetric differe tiators a d eve symmetric differe tiators are proposed.
