In a f ield invest igat ion, det ailed m easurements w ere made f or t he dif ferent densit ies of L ar ix p rinc ip is . Results show t hat as t he stand densit y increases, bot h stand diamet er at chest heig ht and crown width decrease, which have an ex ponent ial relation to t he density. Singletree volume decreases progressively, w hile stock volume in creases prog ressiv ely . T he single tim ber v olume and st ore are also r elat ed to t he density .
