These implements can be categorized into 17 types including implements for ploughing, seeding, tending and harvesting. Farm implements heritage is full of historical value, artistic value, tourism value and education value. Today, the main methods of protection and utilization include museum exhibition, listing in intangible cultural heritage, miniature crafts show and living exhibition in festivals. The protection of farm implement heritage faces a number of challenges, including too much focus on material implements, over-dependence on tourism and a lack of comprehensive protection system. Therefore, the cardinal principle to guarantee the integral inheritance and sustainable development of agricultural civilization is to explore the time and regional features of farm implements heritage, and to find multiple ways and modes of p
