Compared w ith native natural forests, plantation can contain as many biod iversity as native natural forests in many cond itions. And some rare, threat- ened indigenous species sometmi es occurred in p lantation that they used as substitutive hab itats and mi portant shelter. These resu lts, to a great exten,t support the conclusion that plantation w as not the desert of b iod iversity. Influential factors of plantation on biod iversity w ere analyzed and the enhanced approaches of biod iversity in p lantation w ere recommended.
