Because，e-commerce not only for contribution to GDP by itself, but also can promote the traditional industries. E-commerce becomes a new chance to the local economy. Since 2005, ＂ Several opinions on accelerating the development of e-commerce＂promulgated by General Office of the State Council of China ， governments at most levels formulated policies to support e-commerce industry ， especially the county govenment. Zhejiang province becomes e-commerce pilot zone. Jiaxing’s e-commerce industry placed third on the list. As county economy in Jiaxing that has distinctive characteristics, such research on county government development support policy of e-commerce will private valuable experience to others. III Based on the literature research, case study and comparative analysis, this thesis analyzed the basic circumstance of county government development support policies in Jiaxing. This paper includes six sections: 1. It gives an introduction of the background and significance of the topic and the present situation of researches on e-commerce support policy at home and abroad, and lists methods in the paper. 2. It introduces basic theories of e-commerce and policies. 3. It analyses existing county government e-commerce policies’ current situation and achievement. It further sorts out five problems, such as vague formulation, unlikely to work, lack of leading role, lack of performance evaluation and the laws and regulations are unsound. 4.
