It is widely distributed in human tissues, and involved in cell proliferation and differentiation, tissue and organ growth, development, tissue repair after injury etc. The study found that HDGF expression increased in the tumor tissue of the breast, pancreatic, non-small cell lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, glial cell tumors and other tumors.
