T shows the traffic lights for drivers and

3. Introduce: Cross! Dont cross!
T shows the traffic lights for pedestrians
T: Now we are pedestrians. Look, there is the red man Can l cross the road?
4. Play the recording: Look and learn.
Students listen and repeat.
5..Points to the traffic lights for drivers on
the board. Invite individual students to write : Stop!/Wait!/ Go! Underneath.
6. Play the recording: Say and act.
Students listen and repeat.
7. Students work in pairs to prepare: Say
and act.
Have some pairs act Kitty and Ben and
some pairs act the driving tutor and the
driver.

1. Distribute a copy Photocopiable page 1
to each pair of students. Ask the student
to look at the pictures. Students put the
pictures in the right order and fill in the
blanks
Students cut out the pictures and stick
them onto a big piece of drawing paper to make a poster.
