I II 上海交通大学工程硕士学位论文 摘要 LAYOUT DESIGN OF ALUMINIUM TUBE WORKSHOP ABSTRACT Production line layout as the one of most important factor to impact enterprise logistic cost, it always has aroused lot of experts and scholars to be engaged in the theory researching. And they work out various specific method and algorithm. This thesis mainly dissertates an aluminium tube production plant, using the Richard Muther system layout planning method to work out a layout for their new plant in the planning stage. It starts from the plant address selecting, through to analyzing the product category , production process, equipment and other aspects , studying the logistic relation and non logistic relationship between the different unit, using a set of legend symbols and concise forms to improve the existing layout design and find a better layout for the workshop. In the last chapter, the author uses the cost comparison method to make a quantitative analysis between the old layout design and two new layouts, to find the solution with smallest logistic cost .
