华 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract Die mould is playing an irreplaceable role in the manufacturing as basic technology equipment. In recent years, Chinas die mould industry has a rapid development. However, there are still large gaps between China and developed industrial countries in die mould industry. The gap of the management levels is very serious among them. By investigating and researching current management status of China’s die mould enterprises, it can find that low management level of mold production process is one of the main reasons that hinder the development of China’s die mould enterprises. Material is critical in improving the management level of die mould enterprises as a key management element in the production process. So, according to die mould production management requirements and characteristics of materials flow in die mould production process, the author does an in-depth research on key technologies of material management for die mould enterprises. The thesis deeply analyzes the effective element in the material management for die mould enterprises by adapting object-oriented ideas, summarizes characteristics of material management for die mould enterprises: vendor selection mechanism is not effective, purchase is not timely, inventory information is not accurate, inventory wastes are serious, so the response of supply, sale and store for the whole enterprise is not timely and management is chaotic. It also establishes an optimization material management model based on BOM according to the above-mentioned material management requirements for die mould enterprises and the theory of SCM and BPR. In addition, it researches three main aspects of material management as follows: 1) vendor management: how to help manager choose vendors efficiently; 2) purchase management: adapting the JIT purchase method to help user indicate the workshops material demanding plan quickly and make purchase planning timely; 3) inventory managemen
