Abstract Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan flourished in the early 1920s of the Hunan modern labor movement. Although they were killed by Warlords when they were extremely young, their activities still left a glorious page in the history of Hunan labor movement. In Huang Ai and Pang Renquan’s study, academic circles focused more on the ideological of Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan. It is a relatively ignored research subject to investigate Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan together with the authority of Hunan labor movement. Deeply exploring what Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan have done in the labor movement, we can further found the intrinsic link between them and the Hunan labor movement . In practical terms, the process of Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan joined in the Hunan labor movement, experienced three different stages: understanding of modern labor movement, joining in the Hunan labor movement and establishing Hunan Labor Congress. On the basis of the large amounts of data, discussed general overview of Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan and the Hunan labor movement, the reasons for changes of Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan to understand workers movement, are Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan’s own revolutionary zeal and their communist anarchist thought, the debate between Marxism and anarchism in Changsha, further requirement to further struggle. Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan cooperated with communist party is based on the close relationship between them and the efforts from Mao Ze-dong. The communist Partys leadership to Hunan Labor Congress, mainly reflects in: the restructuring of the labor, making Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan joint into the Socialist Youth League, sending representatives to participate in the Far East National Conference and leading the demonstrations with the CPC against the Pacific Conference. The textile mill public movement, Labour Day pageant, industrial strike and acting new play which were leaded and supported by Huang Ai and Pang Ren-quan, had produced important influences on
