Step1 .Warm-up and lead-in
1.Greeting.
T :Good afternoon everyone.Let’s begin our class.Today we’ll learn Unit 4 What can you do?Now,listen!I’m a big big girl,in a big big world.(老师为同学们演唱英文歌曲big big world)唱后问同学们:What can I do?
Ss:You can sing English songs.
T: Yes,I can sing English songs.
2.Watch and answer.
Now let’s watch a video.after watching ,please tell me:in the video ,what can he do?
Ss answer the questions:He can….
Step2. Presentation.
1.Show Robin’s photo.
T holds Robin’s photo and asks:Who is he?
Ss :Robin.(待学生回答后将照片贴到黑板右侧)
T: Today I got an email from Robin,he told me he can do many things.
2. Listen and answer
T:Let’s listen and answer:What can Robin do?(同时在黑板左侧板书这个句子)
3.Read silently and tick or cross.
T:everybody,please turn to page43,read the email by yourself silently and tick or cross.2 minutes later, check answers together.
Answer the question.
