The Research on Innovation Survey of Knowledge-Intensive Business Service in Shanxi Province Author: Xu Hui Supervisor:Guo Pibin ABSTRACT During an era of knowledge economy, knowledge-intensive business service has been developed quickly, and become the engine point of future economic and irreversible trend. As Shanxi is a major province of energy, its industrial structure of original resource is difficult to continue. On the background of industry transformation and regulation, it becomes an important issue, which is how knowledge-intensive business service in Shanxi will be developed. Research on innovation situation and development strategies of knowledge-intensive business service in Shanxi, has important theoretical and practical significance for the future development of knowledge-intensive business service of Shanxi Province and resource-saving and environment-friendly society. This paper summarizes the theoretical basis of knowledge-intensive business service innovation and finds the research perspective, based on research status at home and abroad. Primary data in this study are collected through questionnaires, specialists’ interview and other methods, and then are analyzed using SPSS software, the mean analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods. The results show that the main factors affected product innovation are the external knowledge resource, the internal knowledge resource, shared environment, tacit knowledge, innovation protection and technology organizational defect, which are also the main factors affecting process innovation. Besides the six factors mentioned before, cost risk is another factor affecting process innovation. The conclusions are as follows: From the micro-level KIBS enterprises, lack of innovation culture in knowledge-intensive business service, the internal and external knowledge resource has different effects on innovation activities.
