It is a quite new idea in our country, for the concept of the recycle economy was introduced into our country late in 1990s. With the rapid economic development of our country, and the rapid expansion of city scale and the excessive concentration of population, the development of cities is faced with serious problems, such as shortage of resources, environmental pollution, ecological deterioration and so on. Especially, with the rapid development of Chinese restaurant and catering industry, pollution of food waste is sharp increase in recent years, which has a strong impact on environmental quality, and destroys ecological environment as well as social stabilization. It is a new problem of cities in China. Dongguan is an important industrial city, with a large number of newcomers and floating population. And the restaurant industry is well developed in the city. Meaning while, the kitchen trash is quite large, more than 600 tons per day. Given the limitations of traditional kitchen trash disposal (such as high-cost and easy to cause secondary pollutants), there is an urgent need to use new ways and ideas to kitchen trash disposal. Therefore, we analyze the potential benefits of recycling kitchen trash based on the actual situation of Dongguan and circle economic theory, such as financial benefit, economic efficiency, social benefits and environmental benefits. Finally, we put forward some advice and solutions for the further development of Dongguans circle economic in restaurant and catering industry.
