II II Abstract Calligraphy as the most important carrier of chinese culture is known by more and more foreigners. It is become the compulsory course for international students in china. Because the calligraphy course for international students is not opened up for a long time and the resource of professional teacher is week, domestic calligraphy course for international students to be faced with problems currently. In order to promote chinese culture international spreading, we should improve the quality of calligraphy teaching and content of courses systems . The paper discusses on the issue that domestic calligraphy course for international students ignore cultural teaching, I develop the investigation and research, then work out one complete semester course design and two teaching design. The paper includes four chapters. The first chapter is the general introduction of the paper, in this paper we summarize the present status of domestic calligraphy course for international students. The second chapter shows the meaning of set up the course of the calligraphy culture for foreigners. The third chapter introduces the theory and design methods of questionnaire survey, and select respondents, make a conclusion for the result of survey. The last chapter combine with the problem we found on the last chapter to work out course design and teaching design.
