Research on the Development System of Shanxi Culture Industry Author: Yang Shaohua Supervisor：Zhao Gongmin ABSTRACT As a new sunrise industry, culture industry, honored as “Smoke-free Industry”, has broad development space. More and more countries have been promoting culture industry as strategic industry. To vigorously develop culture industry has become a rising trend around the world. The culture industry has been regarded as a tool for state-to-state competition in the international arena, simultaneously, it is also the most important pillar industry at the era of Knowledge Economy. On July 22nd, 2009, aiming at bringing up culture industry as new economic growth point and an important way to change the mode of economic growth, the State Council adopted the “Plan of Revitalizing Culture Industry”. Shanxi, one of the birthplaces of the Chinese civilization, has abundant cultural resources, and it has got rich heritage from its long history. Facing current global financial crisis and the national Revitalization Plan, the research on development of Shanxi’s culture industry has great significance. First, it not only carries forward outstanding national culture, but it also is the inevitable choice for economy restructuring of Shanxi. Second, it not only helps Shanxi improve advanced culture, but it also is the inevitable choice to meet the urgent need of the masses and promote development of Shanxi. The first chapter describes the background and significance of the research topic. the basic connotation of culture industry and related theory are summarized in it .I analyzes contents , method of this research ,and the innovation points in this paper. In the second chapter , I analyze the distribution of competitive advantage of Cultural industries in both home and abroad.The third chapter is about the status quo of Shanxi culture industry ,i also point out the problems which exist in the development of it .In the forth section, ,i studies the competitive
