典案一 教学设计
Step 1 Warming- up
Show some pictures about different singers or musicians. Let students ask and answer
questions in pairs :
Who is your favorite singer or musician? Why do you like him or her?
Step 2 Presentation
1.Play different kinds of music for students and ask them some questions.
T: What kinds of music are they?
(They are pop music/rock music/country music/light music … )
How does each song make you feel?
Who is your favorite singer or musician?
Why do you like his or her music?
2 .Ask students to answer the above questions like this :
I like/love________ because its _______________________________________________.
Because it sounds ___________________________________________________________.
I feel ________ when I listen to it.
Step 3 Listening
1.Before listening
Let students look at the picture in 1b and talk about :
How many people are there in the picture?
What are they doing now?
Are they a band?
2 .Listening
(1)Work on 1b :
Let students listen to a conversation between Alex and Dave. Write A for Alex or D for Dave
next to each opinion.
(2)Work on 1c :
Ask students to listen again and take notes.
Then listen a third time and check the answers.
3 .After listening
Complete the passage according to the chart of 1c.
Alex is listening to music. Dave thinks the song sounds really good. Alex tells him that the
