Abstract The management concepts of Tien, Ti and Jun (the heaven, the earth, the human beings from Confucianism) reveal the modern value of management functions based on the system of Tien, Ti and Jun (the heaven, the earth, the human beings), its theories and spirits with reference to the executive Sanlienchih (three unions) as well as the five functions of modern management, which could fulfil the modern values of management ideas. The management concepts of Tien, Ti and Jun prescribe as follows: according to Tien (the heaven) there should always be a management plan in advance; according to Jun (human beings) the executive should be maintained by business processing according to the plan; according to Ti (the earth) there should be conducted by management control. All these management functions should be carried out continuously and renew time to time in order to pursue progress, realizing modern management values.
