2007 44(2) 　Chinese Bulletin of Entomology ·219 ·　 ＊ 1, 2 1＊＊ 2 2 2 2 李号宾 　吴孔明 　徐　遥 　杨秀荣 　姚　举 　汪　飞 (1.　　100094; 2.　　830000) 1,2 2 ＊＊ Population dynamics of pest mirids in cotton filed in southern Xinjiang.LI Hao-Bin , WU Kong-Ming , XU 2 2 2 2 Yao , YANG Xiu-Rong , YAO Ju , WANG Fei (1.Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Bei ing 　100094, China;2.Institute of Plant Protection, Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Urumqi　830000, China) Abstract　Population dynamics of pest mirids in cotton f ields and influence from cotton_varieties w ere studied from 2002 to 2004 in southern Xin iang, an intensive planting area of cotton in recent years in China.The results show ed that there w ere 2 species of pest mirids in cotton fields, Lyguspratensis (L.)and Adelphocoris lineolatus (Goeze), in which L .pratensis the dominant pest with a percentage of 99.93%in total number.The highest population densities of L.pratensis reached 56.0, 105.3, 53.7 individuals per 100 plants in 2002, 200 3 and 2004, respectively, while the population density of A .lineolatus w as less than 0.1 per 100 plants.The systematic investigation on population dynamics on diff erent varieties of cotton, including tw o Bt cotton lines, GK19 (expressing Cry 1A insecticidal toxic protein )and SGK321 (expressing Cry 1A CpTI insecticidal toxic proteins), and two conventional cottons (Simian3 and Shiyuan32 1), indicated that there w ere no signif icant diff erences in pest mirid density among them.
