Abstract: The effects of two concentrations ( 12 g/L and 15 g/L) of Semper fresh treatment on the stor
age quality and post- harvest physiology ofNewhallnavelorangeswhich were stored at low temperature( 7 !
1∀ )were investigated. The results showed thatSemper fresh treatm ent couldmaintain the storage quality such
as soluble solids content ( SSC), vitam in C content and titratable acid in fruits. The loss ofwater and decay
rate of fruitswere also been inhibited. The activity of som e antioxidant enzym es (SOD and CAT) also indica
ted that Semper fresh treatm ent can prevent the quality degradation of Newhall navel orange. The optmi um
concentration was 15 g/L treatment.
