Most people think that Classical Formula is “lesser andrefininginprescription,strongandspecificinefficiency冶,it is relatively to clinical prescription. In fact, “Non鄄Classical Formula冶 also got this characteristics, the borderline between Classical formula and Non鄄Classical Formula is blurred and indistinct. Analysis on Classical Formula itself,it shows that Classical formula is strict in modification,change in one medicine will name asanew formula;Strict inratio,changing in onemedicinemodificationwill affect the dosage in formula;Strict in Dosage,different ratio will name as a new formula. Thus,for the further discussion, characteristic of Classical Formula is in the relation “between formula and formula冶,pay attention to the relation of different medicine and formula,the value of Classical Formula is the integrated theory system, rather than fragment
