?Students will eat more vegetables.
?Students will be interested in communication in English.
?Students will be aware of the importance of cooperation and will be more active in group work.

Step2: Presentation and practice
T: Do you like vegetables? Today, we are going to see many vegetables.
Present the word“tomato” with a riddle.
T: Here’s a riddle for you. Please guess what it is. It’s yummy to eat. It’s red and round. It grows
on the ground. It’s a kind of vegetables.
T guides Ss to guess and teach the plural form of the word.(show the real tomato)
T: What color is it?
Make sentence: Look at the tomatoes. They are red and round.
2. Present the word “potato” according to pronunciation.
After teaching the word “tomato”, T presents the following letters:_o_a_o. Then T presents letter p_t_t_ and guides Ss to pronounce the word.
