First revise the words we have learnt in Period 1. Then ask the students to talk about the animals with target languages in Period1 Step 2 Presentation. Grammar Focus Lead students to read the sentences in the box, and invite some students to read them. Conclude the grammar with the students Step 3 Practice. （1）Teach Activity 3a Lead students to read through the words in the box to understand their meanings. Then give students several minutes to have a fast reading of the conversation. Complete the conversation with the given words individually. Check the answers first, then ask a pair of students to role-play the conversation. （2）Have a free talk according to the pictures on the screen using the target languages. （3）Guessing games.
