Summary (一般过去时) past simple be:was/were V-ed 表示动作或状态发生在过去，而不是现在，常伴有表示过去的时间状语； 常用时间状语： ago(以前), just now（刚刚）, yesterday（昨天）, last+时间（上一个），in+过去时间… He was born in 1995.
