Abstract:Shape memory polymer can response to the external stimulation such as heat, chemicals, mechanism, light, magnetism,
electric ity and so on, to change its technica l para meters, This paper details the development of shape memory polymers, for example,
polyurethane, crosslinked polyethylene, polyester as w ell a s trans 1, 4-polyisoprene.Mecha nism of sha pe memorizing of high molecular
materia l is analyzed, a pplication a nd developing prospect in textile industry are introduced.
