Methods Fourteen patient w ith lar ge v e t ibular aqueduct undergone high - r e olution CT can, M R ex zmination w er e ob tained in ix patient . T he ve tibular aqueduct ( o n CT can ) or the endolymphat ic duct ( on M R image ) were mea ur ed at t he midpoint of the di tal limb. Results All the patient howed t hat the ve tibular aqueduct w er e greater than 1. 5 mm in diameter( 12 ca e bilateral ide , tw o ca e ingle ide) . T o compar e CT and M RI could reveal the dilated endolymatic duct and endolymatic ac directly. Conclusion T he diag no i of larg e ve tibular aqueduct can be made accurately on both CT and M RI, the finding on M RI were mor e optimal than tho e on CT .
