Through some words about food, lead into the topic: Health is important. Then tell the different usages of health, healthy, unhealthy, healthily. Step 2: I can say. Through the pictures of Jack’s daily life, discuss whether Jack has a healthy life or not. If not, what should we do to keep healthy? Then discuss the topic in detail from four aspects: good eating habits, take exercise, and relax ourselves. Step 3: I can write. Through the activities above, we have got many words and phrases about health, how to turn these phrases into sentences?(Let Ss pay attention to the structures and grammars. ) Then turn sentences into a passage.(Give a sample, Let Ss pay attention to the linking words which make the passage more organized and clear.) Let Ss read the article together. Analyze the structure of a passage, give an outline, let Ss write a passage in ten minutes. Ask two Ss to write on the blackboard.
