Unit 6 I’m watching TV Section A (1a-1c) 一、教材分析：本单元主要是围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动，并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句，否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境，通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。本节课主要是一节听说课， 旨在让学生在轻松的学习环境中不断地进行听说训练，掌握v-ing 的简单构成和正确读音以及熟悉正在进行时的句型。 二、教学目标 1、语言目标 语言知识：要求学生掌握以下新单词和短语（newspaper，use, soup, wash, watching TV, cleaning, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the computer, making soup, washing the dishes, exercising） 语言功能：学会用英语谈论人们正在做什么, 能就正在发生的事进行问答。 What are you doing ? Im watching TV. What’s he / she doing? He / She is using the computer. What are they doing? They’re listening to a CD. 2、情感目标： 培养同学间的友好相处，规范自己的行为，同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力，激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情，在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿，敢于开口，积极参与，主动请教。 3、文化意识： 了解西方人是如何表达或描述正在进行的动作。 教学重点及难点： 重点：1、1b 中所列的单词及短语。 2、现在进行时的问答句。 难点：现在进行时的用法和动词v-ing 形式的构成在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。 三、教学策略：充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验，创设生活化的真实情境，引导学生在运用语言中学习语言，然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言（在做中学,学了就用）。 四、教学过程设计 Step1. Lead-in. 由一张QQ聊天截图引出本节课的主题：正在进行时Step 2. Learning goals. 1、学习新单词和短语：newspaper，use, soup, wash, watching TV, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone… 2、学习用英语对正在进行的动作进行问答： （1）---What are you doing ? --- Im watching TV. （2）---What’s he / she doing? ---He / She is using the computer. （3）---What are they doing? ---They’re listening to a CD. 3、了解西方人是如何表达或描述正在进行的动作。 Step 3 New words and expressions：newspaper , read a newspaper ,use , soup , make soup , wash ,wash the dishes Step4. Presentation 1 根据图片及已学的单词或短语引出并学习1b 中要掌握的的单词和短语。 Step5. Work on 1a Match the activities with the pictures. Step 6. Presentation 2 看图片学习句型 ---What are you doing ? --- Im watching TV. ---What’s he / she doing? ---He / She is using the computer. ---What are they doing? ---They’re listening to a CD. Step 7. Listening (1b) 1、Listen and write the numbers from 1a. 2、Look at the tape scripts, listen and repeat. Step 8.Pair work Ask and answer questions about what people are doing in 1a.
