Where is the……?Where are the…?Go straight. Then turn left. Thank you. You’re welcome. 2能力目标:能用英文问路、指路,能准确分辨方向。 3情感目标:学习礼貌用语,文明待人。 三教学重难点 1教学重点: 能听懂会说Where is the…… ? Where are the……? Go straight. Then turn left / turn right. 2教学难点: 能准确运用句子Where is the……?与Where are the……? 四课前准备 1教师准备 卡片:left, right, straight, turn left, turn right, go straight.、CAI课件、路标卡片 2学生准备 text books, exercise books 五教学过程 Step 1、Warming up 1.Greetings 2.Sing an English song together. “Follow Me” 播放音乐,师生一起边唱边做。 Follow me, Follow me Hands up, Hands up Follow me, Follow me Hands down, Hands down Follow me Follow me Wave your arms Follow me, Follow me Bend your knees 设计意图:与学生间对话,问候既可以缩短师生的距离又可以培养学生的交际能力;营造轻松愉快的教学气氛,抓住学生的注意力,吸引学生参加活动,有兴趣的进入下一个环节。 Step 2、Presentation and the new lesson .教学单词left, right 2.(1)由音标归纳法引出l e ft, r i ght,str aigh t (2)师呈现教学卡片,左手拿left , 右手拿right,让学生自己试着拼读。师再教学left, right, straight ( 3 ) Read and act.学做小小交通警察。 2.由体育课导出词组turn left, turn right, go straight. (1) 师出示turn left 行教学。 (2) 课件播放turn left, turn right各一遍,生跟读go straight两遍后,师出示卡片教go straight。 (3) I do, you say . (4) 游戏:优秀队员赛。 设计意图:通过音标导入,学习新的单词;做小小交通警察, 优秀队员选拔赛, 让学生在真实的情况下练习英语,运用英语,学生从一开始就有一种愉快的体验,以至于使他们忘记了是在学习外语,在无意识注意中积极吸收活动所使用的语言。 3.课文教学。 (1) 揭示课题 (2) 教学新课 (3) 阅读课文,找出不理解的地方,学习句子“You’ll see it.”“Excuse me .” (4) 回答教师提出的两个问题:Q1:They want to go to_____? Q2: How to get to the zoo? (5)跟读课文两遍。 (6) 分角色朗读对话。 设计意图:利用图片的作用,引出新知识;句子为单位,有利于培养学生直接运用外语的能力。模仿朗读的语言实践练习,在助于培养学生的语言训练技巧和语言习惯。 Step 3.Consolidation 1.课件显示动物园画面。做P43 Ask and answer 讨论练习,区分Where is the zoo?和Where are the pandas? 的使用及不同。 Sum up. 3 Sing an English song: Follow me, 复习巩固turn left, turn right。 设计意图:用情境引出所学句型,培养学生用刚刚所学的句型,在英语交流中发展表达能力。 Step 4.Homewoke 1.听录音,熟读课文 2.完成《活动手册》上的相应练习。 3.画出学校到家里的路线图。 七、板书设计 Unit 5 Lesson9 As
