Abstract This study takes junior high school students as the research object, and revised the Forgiveness Scale of Heartland, using it take an investigation of Chinese junior high school , students forgiveness level preliminary. On the basis of previous studies, we proposed to analyze the relationship between forgiveness, self-esteem and aggressiveness with the help of Self-esteem Scale and Adolescent Aggressiveness Questionnaire. The major findings are as followed: （1） The revised Forgiveness Scale of Heartland includes three factors: forgiving others, situation forgiveness and forgiveness one-self. It has good stability and internal consistency. We tested it and find it have good reliability and validity. （2 ）The Chinese junior high school students forgiveness is the medium level on the whole. But some of them need to have an improvement. （3 ）In terms of demographic variables, there was significant difference of gender and grade on forgiveness, but in the one-child, parents education level and the main living areas, there is no significant difference. In the gender variable, male and female junior high school students exist significant differences in dimension of forgiveness, and boys scored significantly higher than girls. But there are no significant differences between them on situation forgiveness and forgiveness one-self. Variables in the grade, the different grade forgiveness level exists significant difference, the second grade students scored the highest, then the third grade student, beginning students scored lowest; In the whole forgiveness, situation forgiveness and forgiveness one-self, does not exist
