Step1 Leading-in Warming up (5ms)
Task: Arouse students’ interest, help them warm up and lead to the writing part naturally.
Enjoy a part of the film Saving Private Ryan, and then answer several questions.
1.What’s the type of the film?
2.When and where is the film set in?
3. Who are the main characters?
4. How do you feel about the film?

Step2 Reading Pre- writing (10ms)
Task: Enable students to get information and master the words and expressions of describing wars.
1.Fast reading
Individual work: Read the Review of Saving Private Ryan quickly and match each paragraph with its main idea.
