Edward just smiled and said nothing. ;However,this is not a happy story. Edward fall in love with Peg’s daughter—Kim, while Kim had have a boyfriend. Edward was so pure that he could do everything for Kim.Even when Kim asked him to help her boyfriend to steal money, he did it.;Kim was moved by Edward and felt attracted to him for his pure heart .But people became afraid of this uncommonly man , they all misunderstood Edward. ;At the end of the movie ,Edward was pushed back to his castle by the neighbours and never came down again. There is an internal monologue of Edward-- If I have never tasted the warm feeling, maybe I would not feel such cold; If I have never feel the sweet of love, I would not have such pain. If I never met kind Peg , if I never left my room, I wouldnt know I was so lonely . I love this “ugly” man so much because he is beautiful inside.
