----ReadingWriting Hello everyone I’m in London, but it doesn’t feel like England. I’m at the Notting Hill carnival. It’s noisy and colorful. There must be a million people here. Everybody is having a good time, even the policemen. In fact , there aren’t any spectators —everybody who is here is parting of the celebrations. There are bands from all over the world playing all types of music , but the best ones are the West Indian calypso bands. Calypso is great---it’s exciting and relaxing at the same time. Besides the bands, everybody has a whistle---including me! So it’s really noisy. The food’s good , too. I had some chicken, called jerk chicken, and some Jamaican patties, which are made of beef and onions. They’re really tasty. Now I’m having a coffee at an Internet Café, and a rest. But the celebrations are continuing outside. When I’ve finished this email, I’m going to go back to the parade. I’ll let you know how it all ends!
