Abstract Abstract Based on the foundation of pre-stack elastic impedance inversion, the dissertation proposes the angle gradient impedance, deducing expresses of angle gradient impedance of all kinds of pre-stack elastic impedance respectively and researching inversion of angle gradient impedance. After introducing some common calculation for quality fator, the dissertation analyzes the relationship between attenuation elastic impedance and attenuation of seismic wave, and then proposes a method for quality factor based on attenuation elastic impedance. The resolution of fluid identification using acoustic impedance and shear impedance needs to be improved. Integrating information of acoustic impedance, shear impedance, density, Poisson Impedance and Poisson Dampening Factor can distinguish fluid in reservoir more effectively. At last, all the methods were practiced in north-east of Sichuan, and get ideal results. The main research and contributions of this dissertation are summarized as follow: First, according to the foundation of pre-stack elastic impedance inversion theory, angle gradient impedance was proposed based on the advantage of pre-stack elastic impedance inversion.
