Abstract: Electronic Commerce( EC) is changing the traditional mode of prod ction and economic str c-
t re, it also has strong infl ence on the global economy. This article presents briefly the EC sit ation of
application in the wood ind stry abroad. In addition, it analyse the electronic commerces effect on the
wood ind stry, and holds that Internet EDI is the f t re EC mode in the wood ind stry.
