The survey on Immigrant Children Newly Admitted to Schools is an
annual survey conducted by the Statistics Section of Education
Department. It collects data on immigrant children newly admitted to
ordinary secondary and primary day schools in Hong Kong， including
their academic attainment. This article analyzes the characteristics of
these immigrant children based on the findings of surveys conducted in
the past eleven years.
教育署統計組每年對新移民學童首次入讀本港學校的情況進行統計調查，以
