Accessible “Notification of Cooperative Acceptance Testing for xDSL Capable Loops—Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin” Date: May 23, 2000 Number: CLECAM00-042 Contact: Ameritech Account Manager This letter is to formally announce the availability of Cooperative Acceptance Testing for xDSL capable loops in the Ameritech operating regions. Ameritech will make available Cooperative Acceptance Testing per the following schedule: Ohio May 15, 2000 Illinois June 1, 2000 Michigan June 15, 2000 Indiana July 1, 2000 Wisconsin July 1, 2000 In order to take advantage of this offer, CLECs are required to amend their Interconnection Agreements with the appropriate language. Attached to this letter are SBC’s proposed rates, terms, and conditions for Cooperative Acceptance Testing. Please contact your Account Manager if you have an interest in obtaining this language. Attachments ACCEPTANCE TESTING AND COOPERATIVE TESTING SBC-12STATE and the CLEC agree to implement Acceptance Testing during the provisioning cycle for xDSL loop delivery. When SBC-12STATE provides HFPL, continuity is generally assumed as SBC-12STATE retail POTS service is operating at the time of the order. Therefore, acceptance testing is unnecessary. Generally, SBC-12STATE would not dispatch to provision HFPL, thus would not have a technician at the customer site to perform an acceptance test. Should the CLEC desire Acceptance Testing, it shall request such testing on a per xDSL loop basis upon issuance of the Local Service Request (LSR). Acceptance Testing will be conducted at the time of installation of the service request. If the LSR was placed without a request for Acceptance Testing, and the CLEC should determine that it is desired or needed during any subsequent phase of provisioning, the request may be added at any time; however, this may cause a new standard due date to be calculated for the service order.
