课 题 Module 8 Unit 1 Is it a monster? 课型 New 教材分析 本单元主要学习运用一般疑问句Is it a…？句型来询问单个物体，属于一般疑问句句型。教材以连环画的形式呈现出课文的内容与句型：Is it a cat/dog/monster ?并给出回答No, it isn’t . / Yes, it is. 材料生动有趣，能激起孩子的求知欲。 教学目标 知识目标: a.识别单词：monater, new,kite, help, no, not, yes,don’t b.学习句型-----Is it a …?-----Yes, it is /No, it isn’t. 能力目标： 能正确运用Is it a monster?…?来询问物品，并使用“Yes, it is/No, it isn’t.’’来回答。 情感目标： 培养学生运用所学英语的兴趣和能力以及用英语表达的能力。 教学重难点 1、目标单词的正确认读及能正确的利用目标语句对某物进行提问及回答。 2、正确的利用目标语句Is it a …?对某物进行询问在，并能进行回答。 教 学 过 程 与 方 法 学习习惯培养 Step1 Warm-up 1.Greetings 2.Sing a song: 《How old are you ,Sam?》 T：Boys and girls ,let’s sing a song,okay? 3.利用多媒体图片，采用“What is this?” “It is a…”的形式复习一些英语单词。（注意一定要引导学生用句子来回答问题） Step2 Presentation 1.游戏“猜猜看”：老师把各种物品的图片快速地出示给学生，然后马上收起来，老师随意拿起一张图片，提问：“What’s this?”引导学生：当你对物品不确定时，You can say: “Is it a…？” 举例：Is it a dog？ 如果是，You can say: Yes, it is. 如果不是，You can say: No, it isn’t. 讲解：Is it a…？表示猜测图中的物品是什么。 Yes表示“是”，No表示“不” not表示“不”，放在is后面,isn’t=is not 表示“不是”。 师领读句子。 2.师用多媒体图片出示几张有遮挡物的物品，对学生进行询问：Is it a…？最后检查确定Yes or No. 3.师出示一张有遮挡物的图片kite 学习单词kite ，让学生询问：Is it a …?老师进行回答。 T : No,it isn’t. 多次猜测后师主运告诉学生： It’s a kite.引出新单词领读,男生读，女生读。 【设计意图】通过本活动让孩子们对目标语句进行初步感知，并学习一个新的目标单词kite. Step3 Teaching the text a.引入课文： T :Sam has got a present on his birthday. Do you know what is 小组活动设计 教 学 过 程 与 方 法 小组活动展示 it?学习课文第一部分。 Listen ,point and say.
