●● ● THE MONTANA Montana is in the Northeast of American. It is known as “Big Sky Country”（大天空之州） because of its vast（广大的） size and rolling（一望无际的） plains. The members of the Lewis(路易斯） and Clark（克拉克） expedition were the first white explorers （探险家） known to have set foot in Montana. It joined the United States in 1889 .The name Montana comes from the Spanish word“ Montana”, meaning “mountainous”.
