Because / Because of / To… How…? By doing…/ Through sth. both…and… either… or… neither…nor not only … but also… 知识点2：答题方式小结： 表达方式：当原文和问题所述句型不一样，要在表达方式上进行转换：如as…as /…more than… 之间的转换； 留心时态：细心观察，当原文和问题所问的时态不一致时，要适当转换时态； 关联词替换：（同义词，as a result consequence）； 代词不可小觑：找到it和they的具体指代，可以很大帮助到答题； 主旨大意题不再难：可以从段落首尾句找答案； 若题干是细节题：注意 either…or/ not only…but also的相关句子； 最后，在字数要求的范围内对语言进行整合，再进行语言的表达，除了在掌握大纲要求词汇以外，多注意一些连词、介词和描述性词语。 解题步骤： 摘抄--细节题 概括--同义转换 精简--字数限制 专题精讲（2012年浦东新区三模试题） Section D Directions: Read the passage carefully and answer the questions or complete the statements in no more than 12 words. The first fast food restaurants opened in the United Sates at the end of the 1950s. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, the fast food industry continued to expand across the United Sates. Two aspects of American society that helped the fast food industry take off were teenagers and cars. （81）Teenagers were the best workers to fill the low-skill jobs needed to work in fast food restaurants putting together hamburgers, taking orders and frying potatoes. Fast food chains also marketed themselves to people with cars by having drive-thru order windows and car hops. Car hops were waitresses who usually wore roller skates and brought the food outside the restaurant so that people could eat in their cars. The trend of fast food chains hiring teenagers continues today. One out of every eight Americans has worked at McDonald’s, the largest fast food chain in the United States.（82) Fast food chains used to be found only along highways or in business areas wh
