Abstract: T here are tw o k inds of test in A H P (A nalytic H ierarchy P rocess) , nam ely the consistency
check and compatibility check. In th is paper, w e discuss the p roblem existing in the current testing
index and the lim itation of its app lication. T hen w e design a universal testing index. By app lying th is
index and the know ledge of statistics to the consistency check and compatibility check , w e so lve almo st
all the p roblem existing in testing index in A H P. T he m ethod is m uch mo re p recise , easier than common
m ethod.
