SA8000 is consistent with the economic and social development whilst it can be a new trade barrier to the developing countries in the name of human rights.In the short term, SA8000 will undoubtedly those of raising the operating costs of most of the Chinese exporting enterprises especially the labor intensive ones. But in the long term it can benefit the transformation of the competitive advantage and the upgrade of the structure of industries. So it is also a great impetus to the development of our economy and society. Our government and enterprises should change their hostile attitude to SA8000 which is an unavoidable trend. If we can optimistically consider it as a challenge and an opportunity and make full use of its advantages then SA8000 will truly benefit our country and people. This paper introducing the basic contents and development trend of the SA8000 standard; Analysing the present condition in our country of the standard of SA8000, and point out the outstanding problem existed in the implement of the SA8000 standard; Combining our country situations, bring up themeasures from the macroscopic and tiny view to resolve the problem.
