Page 1.1. * Objectives This information provided by Delegates will provide the Seminar Leader with the additional information needed to focus on the objectives of the Delegates and attempt to meet these specific objectives, even if they were not included in the initial plans for the Workshop. The overall objective of the Seminar is described in the above Slide. The key to success in the Sessions is a high level of interaction during each session. Based on the stated objectives of the delegates the relative importance of each planned session will be evaluated and additional time will be allocated to the sessions of particular importance to the Delegates attending the Workshop. However, all published topics will be covered during the Workshop. Accept nothing – question everything ! If you have difficulty accepting a statement – question it, no matter who makes it. Every one will learn from these discussions. Time will only allow the presentations to cover “principles” and each delegate must try to apply these principles to their own work area. If you are having trouble in picturing how to apply the principles in you areas of the business – speak up. Again, the discussions will be of assistance to everyone and will reinforce the principles and allow other delegates to see how the principles can be applied in other areas of the business. Timings While an outline timetable is published as a guide, the actual time to be spent on each topic will be based on the needs and interests of the Delegates. While these changes have significantly impacted the flow of data, they have also impacted the physical flow of materials in the supply chain.
