教案名称 : 译林牛津版高中模块四 unit 2 Reading(1st 课时) 一、教学设计思路 This passage is a speech given by an IOC member which introduced the history 教 from the Ancient Games to the Modern Games. By learning this passage we 学 should convey the valuable Olympic spirit to the students and encourage them 分 to never give up in life. What’s more, this is also good teaching material to 析 develop students’reading and speaking ability. I need to divide the whole procedure into four parts. First, I will lead in the 教 students and arouse their learning interest. Then, I will let the students skim 学 and scan the passageto develop their reading ability, and master the reading 思 strategies of a speech. Third, work in group to make a short speech. In the end, 路 I need to give some comments about this class. 二、教学设计 1.知识与技能 To help students get general idea about the text. 2.过程与方法 教学 To make students familiar with detailed information about the text. Where were the ancient Olympic Games held? Who restarted the modern Olympic Games? Read the text and answer the questions 教学环节 2 (25min) Careful Reading Play the tape of the text to students and let them sum up the main ideal of 4 parts and fill the blank. Skim the text and divide the passageinto four parts and get the main idea of each part, and then finish the blank
