Dear Instructor Please use this in-dealership training session for you and your colleagues to get to know the VAS 5051. The VAS 5051 is a PC based diagnostic testing and information system and is relatively easy to use, however, new comers to PC based equipment may find it a little daunting. Because of this it may be advisable to allow plentiful study time for each section. Please select a time of day for the training session when student’s concentration is at it’s best, for example early morning or mid-morning. Try to avoid the time immediately after lunch when people’s natural tendency is to relax Please allow all workshop technicians to take part in these sessions, however, section 3 (The DSO) is intended for diagnosticians and is quite in-depth. Because of the complexity of section 3, students may need to view the Video more then once before answering the questions within the Exercise Book.
