Education pays As the bar chart shows, the weekly earnings in 2010 were diminishing strictly from doctoral degree to high school diploma and even less than a high school diploma. And there is a clear gap among the data, high weekly earning is 1550 dollars, but the lowest earning is only 444 dollars, what a crazy phenomenon between the levels of education. Obviously, all the data bring out an apparent conclusion, education is a worthy investment! Of course, the purpose of education is more than teaching students how to make a living or earn more money, which is only a small part of the meaning of universities. What the significance of the bar chart is telling people or parents that the payments on children’s education are necessary. On the other hand, through education, we not only developed individual knowledge and technologies, but also a more splendid society, showing on our eyes. From the above, I thought such a phenomenon in the chart can bring us enlightenment that we can get so much from successful education, so, why don’t we happily accept the baptism of the spirit?
