cyberbullying 作文 what is bullying? bully. what does the word make you think of? for some people, it is the biggest guy in the neighborhood who is always trying to beat the little boys or take their things away. for others, it ’ that a group of girls who always make fun of a timid girl at school. actually, bullying is a behavior which is a more powerful person or group attacks a less powerful one or group over times and it can happen in the way of physical or verbal and it is intended to harm or disturb the victims. before we ’re going to st art more specific content about bullying we can have a look at the story of stuart bell. stuart, who was a gifted and 12 year boy, had been bullied by a crowd of boys for a long time. they laughed at him in different ways and called him nick names at school. what was worse, sometimes they beat and threatened him when they followed him to home from school. from then, he began to stay at home away from school because he didn ’t know the reason why the boys teased him constantly and was afraid of what would happen next. finally, he could not stand it any longer but to kill himself to stop the pain that he felt from all the bullies. according to the mayo clinic, who is an expert in the aspect of bully, bullying is defined as a behavior which often occurs repeate dly over times and involves “a more powerful person or group attacking a less powerful person or group. ” from this story we can discover that the boy had been bullied for a long time but not just once or several times. so we can ’t judge a person is bullied when he was laughed at by his classmates once. besides, we also can ’t say bullying is if a man were bitten by a little girl for once because she is not powerful like a group of boys in the story. therefore, bullying this behavior is a more powerful person or group attacks a less powerful person over times. the second character of bullying is that bullying can happen in physical or verbal ways. review the story, stuar
