To this aim, the SUNRISE project (January 2012 - January 2015), co-funded within the 7th FP by EC and managed by the European GNSS Agency (GSA), brought together ITS stakeholders in order to stimulate best practices sharing, identify business, technical, as well as regulation standardisation needs, and foster the deployment of GNSS-based ITS commercial services and applications. This paper aims at presenting the main business outputs of the SUNRISE project, regarding the needs and expectations expressed by the ITS stakeholders in view of supporting the market access of GNSS-based ITS applications, together with the corresponding business recommendations formulated to the GSA and the EC.
