Unit 2 Healthy Eating 课 题 Period 1: warming up and pre-reading 授课时数 : 1 日期: 2015年 3月 23日 一 . 教学内容分析 ( Analysis of the Teaching Contents ) This is the first teaching period of this unit. by showing students some pictures about foods and talking about them. Warming Up is to tell students how different kinds of fo od are grouped. This is important as it enables us to talk about the value of particular f oods to our health. We want students to appreciate what a balanced diet is. Too much f atty food will mean they store extra energy in their bodies. Too much body-building f ood may cause problems for digestion and lead to illness unless enough fibre foods ar e eaten to aid digestion. The teacher can have a free talk with students, let them work i n pairs to read through the chart and discuss the questions. 二. 教学目标 ( Teaching Aims ) Knowledge Aims: Get students to learn more about food, such as some fruits, vegetables, and so on according to some key words and expressions in this part. Get students to learn the basic knowledge on the healthy eating,. Ability Aims: Enable Ss to talk about their eating habits. To train students'ability of speaking about different topics. Emotional Aims: (1) Get students to be interested in information about eating and food. (2) Encourage students to have a sense of healthy eating. Encourage students to be interested in English learning. 三 . 教学重点和难点 ( Teaching Key and Difficult Points ) Teach ing Key Points Ide ntify differe nt groups of food and talk about healthy food.
