As an engagement progresses, new risks may surface. These risks flow through the same evaluation, planning and management effort as those risks identified at the time we developed the proposal. On high and maximum risk engagements, the QA reviews provide an objective, independent review to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding the expectations of our client. The EQA partner brings expertise and objectivity to an engagement. QA reviews provide an invaluable fresh approach and recognition of potential problem areas within the broad perspective of the engagement. The number and frequency of QA reviews is dependent on the overall risk of the engagement and the type of service being provided. The Business Consulting process frameworks provide recommended QA checkpoints that, at a minimum, must be adhered to for all high and maximum risk rated engagements. Additional QA checkpoints may also be defined by the engagement partner in consultation with the EQA partner. The Business Consulting QA forms referenced in the following steps are to be completed at the time of the QA review, not at some later point in the engagement.
