Billie Gayle Lewis As a member of Arthur Andersen’s Advanced Cost Management Team (ACT), Billie Gayle Lewis, provides strategic and implementation experience for both corporate and government organizations. By providing an understanding of Activity-Based Management (ABM) concepts and software applications, Billie Gayle serves as a key player in promoting training materials and data models. Manufacturing, service, and government entities rely on her implementation experience for project and on-going improvement initiatives. She has participated in implementations for clients including Zenith, Coca-Cola, Richo, Dana Corp., the IRS, and the FAA. As a consultant with Activity-Based Management Institute (ABM-I) and Integrated Cost Management Systems (ICMS), Billie Gayle helped design the computer software and created the training manuals that are still in use for both companies. She further served as a trainer for clients and as a liaison between the programmer and the end user for ABM-I’s DeCapo software and ICMS’s CMS-PC software. While serving as ABM Project Leader for Rockwell International’s Automotive Division, Billie Gayle performed management training in ABM. Her knowledge enabled her to conduct and participate in all activity analysis workshops and complete the various reporting functions necessary for project success. In addition to professional speaking engagements and memberships, Billie Gayle is also a recognized presenter. She lectures for chapters of the American Business Women’s Association, the Institute of Management Accountants, and various user group conferences. Billie Gayle is also active in the academic world and has served as a computer programming professor for a local college.
